The Water's Edge

The Water's Edge cabin is a charming 560 sq ft. cabin that overlooks the waters of High Lake.  The living area has a beautiful view of the lake and walks out to a deck that overlooks the lake. Enjoy soaking in the hot tub, grilling and outdoor dining while taking in the beautiful lake view. 

Inside

• Main Bedroom: Cozy full-size bed providing a restful sleep. Beds are made prior to arrival with 1 fitted sheet, 1 flat sheet, 2 shams, 2 pillowcases, a quilt and a fleece blanket.
• Second Bedroom: Twin over twin bunk bed, perfect for kids or the young at heart. Each bunk is made prior to arrival with 1 fitted sheet, 1 flat sheet, 2 pillowcases, a quilt and a fleece blanket.
• Bathroom: Accessible through the main bedroom, featuring a refreshing shower. Body wash, shampoo, conditioner, hand soap and toilet paper are stocked prior to arrival. 4 bath towels, 4 beach towels and 4 wash cloths are stocked prior to arrival. Hair Dryer is provided. 
• Kitchen: Fully equipped with a microwave, refrigerator, oven/stove, cooking utensils, and dishes for all your culinary needs. 4 bottles of water, variety of tea bags, hot chocolate and ground coffee stocked prior to arrival. 
• Fireplace: Snuggle up by the electric fireplace during fall and winter months. The cabin has heat controlled by a thermostat, but it also has an electric fireplace for additional heat and ambience.
• TV: The living room features a 32" Roku TV 
• A/C: The cabins feature air conditioning for the warmer months. There is also a box fan in each bedroom for those that enjoy air moving around them in the summer.
• High-speed internet: The cabin features high-speed internet up to 600Mbps down. 
• Board Games:  Enjoy quality family time with a variety of board games!

Outdoor Amenities

Step outside and soak in breathtaking lake views from the deck or relax amidst the trees in a hammock. The grill and firepit are perfect for outdoor cooking and cozy campfires under the stars. Beach access includes a pedal boat, kayaks, and canoe for endless summer fun. Cast a line and savor the tranquil sounds of nature or unwind in the hot tub while taking in the beautiful lake view.

• Hot Tub: Maintained at 102 degrees in winter and 85 in the summer. We take great care to keep our hot tubs clean and chemically balanced. If your stay is longer than 3-4 days, we may have a technician come out during your stay to check and adjust the chemicals in the hot tub to ensure that you can safely use the hot tub for the duration of your stay.
• Grill: Enjoy making dinner on a gas grill overlooking the lake. There are 2 propane tanks stocked in the cabin - the tank currently in use and an extra tank.
• Outdoor Dining: Outdoor table with seating for 4. Enjoy your meals while enjoying the beautiful view!
• Cornhole: Enjoy a game of cornhole with your friends or family!
• Firepit: The firepit for The Water's Edge is located on the beach by the water and is perfect for roasting marshmallows and telling campfire stories! Roasting sticks are provided.

Shared Beach Amenities

High Lake Retreat is home to two lovely cabins and both cabins share the same beachfront and beach amenities. The lake frontage is 44' and there is plenty of room for 2 families of 4. It's especially fantastic when both groups have children that enjoy playing with each other!

• Kayaks: There are two single-person kayaks
• Canoe: There is one 2-person canoe.
• Pedalboat: There is one pedalboat that seats 4 people and is loads of fun, especially for the kiddos!
• Dock: There is a dock on the beach that is great for fishing! 
• Life jackets: There are life jackets of varying sizes
• Floaties: There are several floatation toys available for use
• Beach Toys: Beach toys are available
• Fishing Poles:  Fishing poles are available
